GLASSICO’s first encounter with glass in its unconventional, artistic form took place in Wrocław, Poland, at a craft exhibition in December 2022. It was there that Tetiana, the designer and founder of the brand, discovered lampwork for the first time — a technique that completely changed the way she saw glass as a material. This is the magic of contemporary glass art: the combination of fire and glass, transformed into one-of-a-kind jewelry.

After returning to Ukraine, Tetiana laid the foundation for GLASSICO — a brand born from determination, experimentation, and a desire to work with glass in an unconventional way. The journey was not always easy. The lack of awareness around lampwork, the realities of war, and the constant “Sorry, we don’t have this type of glass in Ukraine” slowed things down, but never stopped the desire to explore the world of glass and create original forms.

One of the brand’s core values is freedom of choice. With Tetiana’s guidance, customers can take part in creating their own jewelry by choosing colors and combinations that allow their personality to shine through. With the support of loved ones and an ongoing curiosity to discover something new, GLASSICO has grown into a studio creating handmade jewelry and objects from Murano and borosilicate glass. They can be delicate or bold, serious or a little strange and ironic — just like art itself.
