Venice Glass Week 2026

This year, GLASSICO STUDIO is taking part in The Transparent Breath, an international exhibition of contemporary glass jewelry in Venice, Italy, as part of Venice Glass Week 2026!

From September 5 to 21, 2026, the fifth edition of The Transparent Breath is taking place at Space Q at Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice. The exhibition is organized by the Cultural Association Arte Design Venezia and curated by Eleonora Varotto. This year’s edition brings together 27 artists from 16 countries, showcasing diverse approaches to glass in contemporary jewelry and glass art. As part of the exhibition, Tetiana Dudakova, founder of GLASSICO STUDIO and a Ukrainian glass artist, presents a specially created series of works titled ROZKVIT (BLOOM).

For this important exhibition, Tetiana created a series of glass jewelry inspired by the flower — its growth, transformation, and moment of blooming. But the flowers in these works are more than natural forms. They have become a symbol of life that continues even in difficult times. A small bud gradually opens and follows its own path toward blooming — just as people, cities, and an entire country find the strength to keep growing.
This image carries a special meaning. It is a series about life that does not stop. About the ability to grow even in the most difficult circumstances. And about the belief that one day Ukraine will bloom just as freely and beautifully as these flowers. Each piece is handmade in Ukraine, in Kropyvnytskyi, using the lampwork technique in a flame reaching over 1200 °C. The petals, buds, and flowers are shaped directly from molten glass, which means that every flower has its own character and is never exactly the same. All the works were created in the GLASSICO STUDIO workshop in Ukraine and have already made their way to Venice to become part of this international exhibition alongside artists from 16 countries.

For GLASSICO STUDIO, taking part in The Transparent Breath is an extraordinary honor and an important milestone. It is the first time the work of a Ukrainian artist has been presented on this international platform dedicated to contemporary glass art and jewelry design. Venice is a city with a centuries-old glassmaking tradition, which makes the opportunity to present Ukrainian glass art here especially meaningful. It is a chance to show the world that Ukrainian art continues to grow, create, and speak in its own voice even in the most difficult times.
You can see Tetiana’s works in person at The Transparent Breath from September 5 to 21, 2026, at Space Q at Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice. If you are in Venice, come visit the exhibition and discover contemporary glass art from around the world ❤️
